Reports indicate that she passed away five months after the post was made. This development has, however, sparked varying reactions from cyber enthusiasts who ascribed her passing to the dictates of the spiritual realm, influenced by her very declaration.
Others, however, belong to a diverse school of thought, believing that her words were mere pronouncements borne out of fun and random jokes, and that her passing is just a mere coincidence.
Either way, the culture of incurring curses in the name of “cruise,” especially among Nigerians, has become deeply seated in our lifestyles. People should normalize the act of declaring positive things with their mouths.
