Social commentator and life coach, Solomon Buchi has called out the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, over a sermon in which he maintained that outward appearance doesn’t count in Christendom.
Apparently, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya recently made some cautionary statements to his members, refraining them from passing judgmental comments based on physical appearance.
In his statement, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya brought up the case study of an Instagram influencer named Richie, who happens to be a barber. The pastor said that the influencer, Richie, preaches about God despite his numerous tattoos.
Perceiving this as an infamous way to guilt-trip Christians who belong to the judge-by-appearance squad, relationship expert Solomon Buchi launched into attack mode by calling out the pastor, citing that his statement is bad and sad.
Solomon’s response to the senior pastor has sparked some controversy online among net enthusiasts who have, as expected, taken sides.
While some condemned the manner in which Solomon Buchi lashed out at the pastor, saying it was typical of him to hop on the affairs of famous people for trends, others have vehemently condemned the pastor’s statement, citing that one’s service to God should reflect in their outward appearance.
Others, in another light, have sent waves of criticism to the pastor, expressing concerns that courtesans might hold onto this statement and continue to abuse the internet with inappropriate outfits.
What do you think about this ongoing saga between Pastor Jimmy Odukoya and Solomon Buchi?
