Grammy Award winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, widely known by his stage name Burna Boy, has been on the burners for allegedly engaging in a pleasure-for-Lamborghini trade by barter with Instagram influencer Sophia Egbueje.
In a voice note captured by the latter, Burna Boy was allegedly said to have promised to buy Sophia Egbueje a Lamborghini and other luxurious gifts following her approval for consensual sex. Conversely, Sophia explained that after the act was carried out, Burna Boy underwent a personality change and stopped responding to Sophia’s messages.
Feeling cheated, and in a bid to hold Burna Boy to his promise of procuring her a Lamborghini, Sophia released the voice note that captured the authenticity of the agreement to indicate that she wasn’t acting out of character or covetous intent.
As expected, the internet is steaming with hot comments following the release of the voice note and the lady in question. While some have vehemently condemned Burna’s actions, claiming that an agreement is an agreement, others have sent disparaging words to Sophia Egbueje, justifying that women are in the business of trading their genitals for money.
However, the fault might not be entirely Sophia’s, as the released voice note exposed another saga between Sophia Egbueje and her friend, Ama Reginald.
Sophia Egbueje confessed that Ama Reginald orchestrated her relationship with Burna, affirming that Burna is known for spending on girls unreservedly. Sophia said she was like:
โBabe, you should take him seriously. You know itโs him that bought Stefflon Don a Cullinan. He actually spends on girls. Just try and take him seriously.โ
Sophia who felt greatly disappointed in Ama’s move to go clubbing with Burna and his new girl had apportioned blame to her, calling her a traitor for going clubbing with Burna and Chloe Bailey after “a deal gone wrong” chaos between her and Burna Boy.
