Lagos Taskforce Impounds 82 Commercial Motorcycles Plying Restricted Routes
The Lagos State Taskforce on Wednesday, during their routine enforcement operations against riding Motorcycles popularly known as Okada on restricted highways in the State, impounded a total number of 82 Commercial Motorcycles violating the areas visited.
The areas visited include; Alakija, Iyana-Iba, Festac, and Mile 2, Berger by Suya inward Mile Two oke, the raid according to the report shows a reduced number of recalcitrant Okada riders violating the highway ban, indicating that the impacts of consistent and sustainable enforcement operations for compliance is having a bite on the riders.
The operation was hitch-free and conducted with the highest degree of civility and professionalism, the report added.
