The governor of Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani, has set an exemplary standard for Muslim faithful and Christian communities following his benevolent deeds of providing foodstuff to both Muslims and Christians in the State.
We recall that on the 1st of March, 2025, Muslims commenced the annual ritual of Ramadan fasting, which will span a month across the globe. Similarly, Christian communities observed Ash Wednesday yesterday, ushering them into the period of Lent. Considering the challenging nature of the economy and how food supply can pose a limitation, Governor Uba Sani donated 600 trucks of rice and a donation of N3 billion to support Muslim faithful and Christian communities in observing both Lent and Ramadan.
The supply was targeted at under-resourced individuals and leaders who lack the necessary finances to enjoy a smooth season, ensuring that they can be actively involved in the sacred rituals.
The distribution of the supplies has commenced forthwith, and beneficiaries have expressed inexpressible excitement and gratitude over the governor’s magnanimity.
