There seems to be some sort of teleportation, as the Natasha versus Akpabio brouhaha makes global headlines.
With news agencies like BBC News, CBS News, BBC Pidgin, Aljazeera, and CNN publishing the news, it is apparent that the harassment case has transcended beyond the shores of the country.
Natasha’s petition of harassment against Akpabio was tabled before the Senate, and the same had declared it “dead on arrival” on procedural grounds.
Additionally, Senator Natasha was suspended by the Senate for six months with no pay over her altercation with the Senate President regarding a change of sitting arrangement in the House.
Natasha’s suspension was a unanimous decision of the House after a majority of the House had voted that her suspension be extended to six months, as initiated by the Ethics Committee, as opposed to the three months that was proposed by the minority of the Senate.
