Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, known to folks as Charly Boy, has taken a swipe at the late Doyin Okupe, whom he claims was restless during his time on earth.
The singer, songwriter, television presenter, actor, and producer took to his X page to throw jibes at the late Doyin Okupe, stating unreservedly how restless his soul was and how he wished he could be alive to see how far presidential hopeful Peter Obi would go in the much-anticipated 2027 general elections.
Recall that Doyin Okupe threw his weight behind Peter Obi during his presidential campaign, jettisoning the tribal affiliation he had with the opposition party’s candidate, Bola Tinubu, until he was compelled by a court order to step down.
As typical of Charley’s alternative lifestyle, political views, and media productions, Charley Boy attributed Okupe’s loyalty to restlessness, adding that Okupe’s soul needs the eternal rest that has been handed to him by unforeseen circumstances, and in this case, death.

I wish you had waited a while to see how Peter Obi go take Waka for 2027.
We are not supposed to yab people who have passed on, but bro, ur own been too much, I can’t lie.
