Following the declaration of an interim government headed by 64-year-old Retired Vice-Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas, the presidency has called for a meeting with Vice-Admiral Ibok-Ette in Aso Rock, Abuja.
The newly elected sole administrator of the Rivers State government came on board hours after the presidency suspended the state governor, Siminalaye Fubara, his deputy, Ngozi Odu, and members of the state house of assembly over an unresolved crisis in the state.
The former chief of naval staff arrived at the state house at 12:50 PM for the meeting to have a discourse with the president on how to foster peace and tranquility in the state.
