Nyesom Wike, alongside other prominent leaders in the Federal Capital Territory, stormed the presidential villa to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with the president and his household.
President Tinubu was said to have arrived at the Banquet Hall at Aso Rock around 12:16 PM, where the lawmakers representing the Federal Capital Territory at the National Assembly, area council chairpersons of the FCT, FCT traditional rulers, religious leaders of both Christian and Muslim faiths, senior judicial officers, among others, were already present.
The banqueters were led in opening prayers by the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Deacon Timothy Amazon, and the Murshid of the National Mosque, Prof. SAS Galadanci.
Among the banqueters were Vice President Kashim Shettima, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.
The FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, gave the opening remarks which was succeeded by the presentation of cards by the guests to the presidency.
