As the Natasha’s Eid-el-Fitr meet and greet event unfolds, she requests that citizens should hold the President of the 10th Senate Godswill Obot Akpabio, Yahaya Bello, and Governor Usman Ododo responsible for any chaos or violence that may occur.
Recall that the suspended senator had planned to visit her constituency on Tuesday to celebrate the Sallah feast with her constituents. However, Governor Usman Ododo issued a directive banning political gatherings and convoy movements a day prior.
Undeterred, Natasha informed her constituents through her media team that the gathering would proceed.
She also pre-warned Nigerians and her constituents about the alleged plan by Governor Ododo, Yahaya Bello, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio to sabotage the gathering using state security.
In a bold statement, Natasha stated:
“My dear people of Kogi Central, I look forward to our peaceful Sallah celebrations today.
“However, should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Ododo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill Akpabio wholly responsible.”
The Senator has equally been warned by the Kogi State Police Command, acting on Governor Ododo’s directives, to cancel the planned gathering.
Notably, the daring senator has made headlines in numerous dailies for her bold decision and strategic moves. Despite repeated attempts by powers that be to restrain her, Natasha has consistently resisted making her a huge force to reckon with politically and beyond.
