An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court has ordered the remand of a teenager, Temitope Olamoru, for allegedly attacking a young girl with a razor blade in Lagos.
The incident occurred on March 12 at about 10:15 p.m. on Faiusi Street, Ajegunle, in the Alakuko area of Lagos State.
According to the prosecuting counsel, SP Josephine Ikhayere, Olamoru’s vicious assault left the victim, Iremide Olawale, with deep cuts on her face, neck, and hand. The attack was so severe that it was classified as an attempted murder case.
Following the court hearing, Presiding Magistrate Lateef Owolabi ordered Olamoru’s remand and adjourned the case to April 14 for further proceedings.
