In a swift move to justice, the Nigerian Police Force has apprehended an individual who threatened a retaliatory attack on southerners residing in the north.
The suspect, identified as Hadaina Hussaini Dan-Taki, who presented prima facie evidence of being a police officer, has been arrested and disavowed by the Police Force, which claimed in a press release that he is not a member of the force.
Apparently, Hadaina Hussaini Dan-Taki, who was once a member of the Police Special Constabulary attached to the Kaduna State Constabulary Office, was dismissed from the Police Force two years ago due to his questionable attitudinal disposition.
However, what the force could not comprehend is the reason why he still presents himself, especially to members of the public, as someone still in active service.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, stated on Friday night that the police clarified that Hussaini is neither a member of the Nigeria Police Force nor a personnel of the Kaduna State Police Command.
His words:
โI swear to Almighty God, we must do something for you guys, have you forgotten all your brothers that are leaving here in the North make my word, after one week you shall see the result.โ
Reports gathered that Dan-Taki will be prosecuted in the court of law where is fate will be decided.
In the meantime, the governor of Kaduna State alongside the Police Command had sent words of caution detailing that the situation is under normalcy and there shouldn’t be a cause for alarm, panic or unrest.
