Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has reinforced her stance on the assassination plot that implicated Akpabio and Yahaya as its key players.
The Kogi lawmaker stated this in the wake of the petition filed by Yahaya Bello’s counsel, Mr. N.A. Abubakar, to the Inspector General of Police, demanding her arrest and probing, along with the submission of tangible evidence to corroborate her assassination claim.
Refuting the allegations, Natasha’s counsel, Victor Giwa, during an interview with The PUNCH, dismissed the petition, labeling it as intimidation. He mentioned that there is no need to try to speed up the whole process unnecessarily, as the police are quite capable of doing their job.
โThey should calm down and allow the police to do their job. There is already a petition to that effect with the IGP.”
He further disclosed that his client, Natasha is in possession of tangible evidence that will corroborate her statement.
โTo show that it wasnโt a mere allegation, Natasha has enough evidence to back up her point.โ
Filing another petition through another counsel Chief R.O Balogun, Yahaya Bello demanded a retraction of the allegations and a public apology to be published on two national dailies or risk facing legal actions
