The gesture took place on Sunday night, following a viral social media interaction that began with a post by GbaramatuVoice. The post encouraged followers to share something positive with strangers in the comment section with the prompt: “You have 10 seconds to say something positive to a stranger in the comment section. Ready… Go!”
Amid the flurry of replies, High Chief Kestin Pondi dropped a comment that caught widespread attention: “Who need a million Naira?”
That comment instantly went viral, sparking reactions across social media and creating a wave of anticipation.
In response, Nanasco, a popular comedian and skit maker from Egbema, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, seized the moment by creating a video appealing directly to Kestin Pondi to remember him. The creative and heartfelt video made rounds online and resonated with many.
To the amazement of many, Nanasco was credited with a sum of ₦5,000,000, a gesture that has transformed his career and reaffirmed Pondi’s reputation as a supporter of youth development and creativity across the Niger Delta.
