Mbeumo favours Man United move despite proposals from three more PL clubs, as The Athletic reports.
Negotiations club to club now due to follow soon with Brentford, United will have the chance to get it done.
Manchester United has agreed to sign Mbeumo, with a verbal agreement reportedly in place between the player and the club.
Mbeumo has a year left on his contract at Brentford, which includes an option for the club to extend by 12 months.
Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in Mbeumo, but he favors a switch to Manchester United.
Mbeumo is worth โฌ55 million according to Transfermarkt and scored 20 goals in 38 Premier League appearances last season.
Mbeumo could potentially replace Bruno Fernandes, whose future at Manchester United is uncertain.
It’s worth noting that Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has stated that the club would be open to selling Mbeumo if an appropriate offer arrives, likely in the range of a “nice, nice amount”.
