Jubilation hit corpers’ territory as the Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced the payment of โฆ44,000 minimum wage arrears to former members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The payment is directed at ex-corps members who completed their service before the recent increase in the monthly allowance from โฆ33,000 to โฆ77,000 took effect earlier this year.
