Suspended lawmaker, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, was today prevented from entering the National Assembly complex as security operatives sealed off all gates, effectively locking her out as the Senate plenary resumed.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had publicly declared her intention to resume legislative duties, citing a recent court ruling that she interprets as a directive for the Senate to consider her recall.
However, security personnel maintained strict control over access points, ensuring the gates remained shut against the Kogi Central lawmaker.
