A former cook employed by Brazilian football star Neymar has taken legal action against the player, alleging excessive working hours and demanding compensation for unpaid overtime and medical expenses.
According to the claimant, she regularly worked 16-hour shifts at the footballer’s residence, starting from 7 a.m. and finishing at 11 p.m.
She stated that her duties included preparing meals for more than 150 people during events and gatherings at the property.
The cook also claimed she was required to work on both weekdays and weekends without adequate rest.
Her responsibilities reportedly involved lifting heavy kitchen equipment and carrying large cuts of meat weighing up to 10 kilograms.
She further alleged that the demanding workload caused serious health problems, particularly affecting her back and hips.
As a result, she is seeking financial support for medical treatment, a support allowance, and €43,000 in compensation for unpaid overtime.
