Sani Zangina, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, has urged governors to inform citizens about the achievements of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
Zangina, national chairman of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu Continuity 2027, made the call in a statement marking Tinubu’s 74th birthday.
He described the president as a courageous leader committed to Nigeria’s development.
Zangina said Tinubu has demonstrated resolve in taking difficult decisions aimed at securing the country’s long-term prosperity.
He added that the president’s leadership has helped strengthen cooperation across political divides.
Zangina said Tinubu’s inclusive approach has inspired several opposition figures to align with the APC.
“Today, we celebrate a courageous leader whose vision and unwavering commitment to national development continue to steer Nigeria toward sustainable progress,” he said.
“Mr. President has demonstrated rare courage in taking difficult yet necessary decisions—some politically sensitive but ultimately aimed at securing the long-term prosperity of our great nation.”
Zangina also commended Tinubu’s ability to foster cross-party collaboration.
“His exceptional ability to foster cross-party cooperation remains one of his strongest leadership qualities,” he said.
“This spirit of inclusiveness has inspired many, including opposition figures, to align with the All Progressives Congress (APC) under his leadership for the greater good of Nigeria.”
Zangina wished the president good health and wisdom as he marked his birthday.
“As Mr. President marks this milestone, I wish him good health, divine wisdom, and continued success in his service to our country,” he said.
He urged governors to ensure that citizens are adequately informed about the policies and achievements of the federal government.
Zangina said Nigerians deserve to know the efforts being made to improve their welfare.
“However, it is imperative to state that Nigerian governors must rise to their responsibility by properly informing their citizens about the achievements and positive strides of this administration,” he said.
“The people deserve to know the efforts being made at the federal level to improve their lives.”
Zangina warned that failure to communicate such developments could lead to legal action.
“Failure by governors to adequately communicate these realities to their constituents will leave no option but to explore legal means to compel accountability and transparency in governance communication,” he said.
