Zack Orji, the ace Nollywood actor, has come under fire after participating in a solidarity rally in Abuja supporting President Bola Tinubu’s reelection.
The rally was organised by the political movement Re-elect Tinubu For Inclusive Nigeria (RTIFN) under the slogan ‘Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria’.
Orji, who serves as the movement’s deputy director general, attended alongside other Nollywood actors and stakeholders as they marched through parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
However, the event has triggered backlash on social media. Many users questioned the timing of the rally given Nigeria’s ongoing security and economic challenges.
Others focused on Orji’s appearance during the march. Videos circulating online showed the actor walking slowly, prompting reactions referencing his recent health struggles.

“How much could Tinubu have dolled out to Zack Orji that would make him march on the roads shouting ‘On Your Mandate’ while he’s visibly very sick and frail?,” an X user wrote.
“Imagine Zack Orji looking like this and still campaigning for Tinubu in the name of ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria’. Someone that should be taking care of his health. Hmm,” another user added.
“I can’t put into words the level of disappointment from Zack Orji,” X influencer Daniel Regha wrote.
