Nollywood diva and star of “Young, Famous & African” has finally laid her father to rest in her hometown, Akwa Ibom.
The actress broke the news of her father’s passing in February via a post on her social media handle.
Similarly, the actress also shared another moment of grief with her online family days after a close friend, who had been quite helpful in the planning process of her father’s funeral, died.
In an emotion-laden post, Ini Edo expressed shock over the demise of her friend, citing that she was working tirelessly as a supportive friend, rallying folks for her father’s funeral some weeks back, only to wake up to the news of her passing.
“I still cannot believe that I am truly typing this. Just a few weeks ago, you were rallying friends for my father’s funeral, only to wake up and hear you’re gone.”
Clad in a white ensemble crested with aesthetic beads, the actress looks as breathtaking as always.
The funeral event had in attendance celebrities like Uche Jombo, Kie-Kie, Lilian Afegbai, and many others.
May the Edos family be consoled in this moment of grief.
