In the wake of the tragic killing of 16 travelers in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, the Department of State Services (DSS) has made significant strides in apprehending those responsible.
Two principal suspects were arrested in Uromi following credible intelligence. These individuals have been transferred to Abuja for further interrogation and prosecution by the relevant authorities.
In addition to these arrests, Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, revealed during a condolence visit to Kano State that a total of 14 suspects have been detained in connection with the killings. The Edo State government, in collaboration with security agencies, continues to work diligently to ensure that all individuals involved in this heinous act are brought to justice.
