Infinix Nigeria proudly took center stage at the prestigious Gamers Assembly 2025, held from April 19–21 in Poitiers, France, championing Nigeria’s vibrant gaming and esports scene on the international front.
As a staunch supporter of the country’s burgeoning digital creative industry, Infinix joined a 14-member delegation of Nigeria’s leading video game and esports companies. Their presence highlighted the innovation, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit that define the nation’s rapidly growing gaming ecosystem.
The Nigerian delegation — sponsored by the French Embassy in Nigeria — featured trailblazing companies such as 10N8E, AfricaComicade, Deluxe Creation Studios, Game Evolution Partners, Gamr, Kon10dr, Kucheza Gaming, Maliyo Games, Xane Studios, along with a professional esports athlete. Together, they showcased Nigeria’s diverse and dynamic contributions to the global video games industry.
Beyond exhibition, four Nigerian delegates embarked on a 10-day intensive internship during the event, gaining invaluable hands-on experience across key disciplines including event project management, exhibition coordination, content creation, television production, and technical operations.
“This is a thrilling moment for Nigeria’s video games industry,” said Désiré Koussawo, Honorary President of Association Futurolan (organizers of Gamers Assembly). “The collaboration between France and Nigeria in the gaming space exemplifies broader efforts to strengthen cultural exchanges and business opportunities across the creative industries.”
Infinix Nigeria’s active participation at Gamers Assembly 2025 reinforces its commitment to nurturing local talent in gaming and esports. By creating opportunities for international exposure and professional growth, Infinix continues to solidify Nigeria’s position as a rising force in the global video games ecosystem.
