President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to ending insecurity across Nigeria, with a renewed focus on the troubled North West region.
Speaking during a state dinner in Katsina, President Tinubu emphasized that lasting national development hinges on the country’s ability to restore peace and security.
“If we truly seek investment in Nigeria, we must first secure the nation,” he declared.
To achieve this, the President pledged the deployment of advanced surveillance systems and cutting-edge technology to combat terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping that have plagued the region.
He also assured citizens that his administration is not only focused on defeating threats but also on supporting victims of terrorism. “We will ensure that affected communities receive the assistance they need to rebuild and thrive again,” he said.
On the economic front, Tinubu pointed to signs of recovery, attributing the recent positive trends to bold policy reforms and decisive governance.
