In response to allegations made by Milla Magee, the office of Julia Morley CBE, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, has issued an official statement.
According to the organisation, earlier this month, Magee requested to withdraw from the Miss World competition, citing a family emergency concerning her mother’s health.
Julia Morley, herself a mother and grandmother, reportedly responded with compassion to Mageeโs request. Recognising the importance of family, she immediately arranged for Mageeโs return to England, placing the contestantโs personal well-being and that of her family above all else.
Following Mageeโs departure, Charlotte Grant, first runner-up in the Miss England competition was appointed to represent England at Miss World.
She arrived in India on Wednesday and has since been warmly welcomed into what the organisation describes as โthe Miss World sisterhood.โ

โUnfortunately, it has come to our attention that certain UK media outlets have published false and defamatory statements, allegedly attributed to Milla Magee, concerning her time in India.โ
The Miss World Organisation has pointed to several video clips in which Magee herself expresses gratitude, joy, and appreciation for her experience.
โThese videos reflect her own words and sentiments and serve as a direct contradiction to the recent false narratives,โ the organisation stated.
Reaffirming its core principles, the Miss World Organisation emphasised its ongoing commitment to โtruth, dignity, and the values of Beauty With a Purpose.โ
