Dr. Olajide Adediran Jandor, a gubernatorial hopeful and the 2023 Lagos State gubernatorial candidate, has caused a stir in the political trajectory of Lagos State following his departure from the People’s Democratic Party.
Political enthusiasts and electorates who threw their weight behind him have wondered what facilitated his grand neglect of the party whose flag he bore during the last election. However, Jandor has neither revealed the happenings that orchestrated his decision nor the next party from which he will pick up membership.
Jandor reiterated during a press conference held on Monday in Ikeja, the state’s capital city, that he is still very much in the political game, stating that his next move will be revealed in a couple of months. He expressed that he was jettisoning the People’s Democratic Party with his supporters, who run across 20 local governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state.
