Mother, Children Die In Fire Outbreak in Ondo

A woman and her two children died in a fire outbreak at Olaiya Rainbow Street in Ondo town, Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The petty traders and her two children, Bukola and Ife, were burnt beyond recognition as they were trapped in the building.
An eyewitness revealed that the fire raged for hours and efforts by the residents within the neighborhood to put out the fire proved abortive.
It was disclosed that the Fire Service was contacted but did not turn up because they had no water or chemicals to work with.

Findings revealed that the fire outbreak started around 11 a.m. within the residential building but spread so fast and engulfed the whole building on Sunday.
It was gathered that the remains of the casualties had been evacuated and deposited at the state General Hospital morgue.
