Kenny Okulogbo, the media consultant of the President of the Senate and former Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, has debunked the sexual allegations leveled against the latter by the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan.
On Friday, the 28th of February 2025, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan went live on Arise TV at 9:00 to bare it all on the happenings in the Senate and the most recent altercation she had with the Senate President.
In her speech, Senator Natasha alleged that the President of the Senate made some sexual advances towards her in exchange for throwing his political weight behind her whenever she raised any motion in the House of Assembly. She alleged that her refusal made Akpabio go ballistic in deeds, and hence, that ushered in a leadership of terror for her among her Senate colleagues.
Consequently, Kenny Okulogbo falsified the allegations, citing that they were all “tissues of lies” channeled towards the disparagement and character assassination of the Senate President. He has also intimidated members of the public with what he alleged to be the true cause of Natasha’s outburst and grand allegation.
He said: “All that Senator Natasha said is a tissue of lies. She is just angry because she was removed as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content.”
Synchronously, Akpabio’s wife, Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, had gone online to equally refute the allegations, claiming that her family is a close friend of the Akpoti-Uduaghan family; hence, the allegations have no basis.
