Wasiu Ayinde, the ace Fuji singer popularly known as KWAM 1, has called out bloggers in a now-viral video, criticising some for “profiting off the private lives of others”.
In the clip, which was recorded during a party performance, the singer condemned bloggers who generate traffic by reporting on people’s personal affairs.
He warned that they would face judgment for their actions, accusing them of overlooking their own flaws while magnifying those of others.
“To all you evil bloggers who blog about other people’s lives just to get traffic, keep going, you shall be rewarded. All evil bloggers will suffer until old age,” he sang.
“You know in your heart that what you’re doing is wrong, and you shall all receive your judgment. You blog about other people’s lives, yet yours is far from perfect.”
The footage comes days after the singer faced backlash over a viral video in which he bragged about intentionally leaving personal belongings, including clothes and footwear, at the homes of women he had stopped dating, particularly those who had children for him.
Recently, a woman identified as Ogechi Eleana accused the singer of neglecting their 12-year-old daughter. She alleged that they dated for over seven years before she became pregnant and claimed KWAM 1 urged her to terminate the pregnancy, promising to send money for the procedure through an aide, but never did.
KWAM 1 has since denied the claim, describing the pregnancy as “useless” and “a free gift” during a stage performance.
