Mr. Ike Chidolue, the former Chairman of the Nigerian-American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC) in Texas, has ordered that Senator Natasha either produce evidence to invalidate Professor Mgbeke’s voice recording claims or tender her resignation without further ado.
The senator’s sexual allegation case took a dicey turn when, on May 1st, a Nigerian US-based activist identified as Dr. Sandra Duru Mgbeke went live on Facebook to feature some alleged leaked audio clips and screenshots that contradicted some of the senatorโs previous statements.
In response, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan dismissed the materials and alleged evidence released by Prof. Mgbeke as doctored to fit the Senate President’s script.
Chidolue, who detailed his opinions in a statement from Abuja on Sunday, referred to Senator Natashaโs counterclaim as lacking tangible evidence.

Speaking further, Chidolue proposed a four-step path for the senator to restore public confidence. According to him, the first step is the submission of the leaked materials for forensic authentication. Secondly, Chidolue noted that the senator should provide concrete evidence, such as police or court records, to support each claim. Thirdly, she should initiate legal proceedings if she believes she has been defamed, and if she is unable to meet these conditions, she should issue a public apology and subsequently resign.

Chidolue also pointed out that the senator has a recurring pattern of evading accountability, citing her sexual allegation claim against Godswill Akpabio and the alleged assassination plan implicating Bello, Ododo, and Akpabio, all of which lacked corroboration from police investigations, sworn affidavits, or Senate documentation.
โWhenever challenged, her strategy is to attack the messenger and evade accountability,โ he concluded.
